Does Knox County Lack Gender Diversity?

Yesterday, I arrived at the Knox County Commission retreat ahead of the Stones River Group presentation.

Dwight Van de Vate, Chris Caldwell and Andrew Davis were there (the three guys it apparently took to replace Bryan Hair)

Van de Vate said that the search for a Parks & Recreation Director is down to two finalists. It seems it is down to two men, no word on the racial makeup of the finalists. Does Knox County lack gender and racial diversity with it’s higher brass?
