At last week’s Knox County Commission Meeting, Tom Walker of one of the FOP (Fraternal Order of Police) groups announced that the group will file a complaint with the Board of Professional Responsibility on Bud Armstrong for the UOPP suit that he filed without the advise and consent of the Knox County Commission and Knox County Mayor. This is an excellent idea, let a party with no emotion or connection review the actions and opine if Armstrong were correct.

Also, Commissioner Randy Smith announced that a few months ago, he discovered that some budgetary line items were with the Law Director’s Office without Commission approval. The line item transfers for that item were postponed and will be discussed again in December.
