Georgiana Vines latest in the daily paper detail former State Senator Victor Ashe in trying to win an election on the board of the Yale Corporation, one of the Yale University alumni/ae positions. Among his list of accomplishments, Ashe has left off being found Guilty of violating the Civil Rights of several City of Knoxville Firefighters by a court of law. Read about it here.
Also, as noted in a comment on Knoxviews from 2011, he left off his membership of the board of Fannie Mae.
Shouldn’t the people that elect the alumni/ae to the Yale Corporation board know everything about who they are voting on?
