Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has proposed an order of protection law, it has also been called a red flag law. This is in response to the Covenant School Shooting in Nashville that claimed the lives of three nine year olds and three adults along with the shooter. Watch the Governor’s statement here.

On Monday night Monday April 17, eight Knox County young people (some who are former Knox County Junior Commissioners) helped craft a Resolution that the Knox County Commission will consider on Monday April 24 in support of the Governor’s proposal. Watch their remarks at Public Forum, here.
