So this weekend because of the 127 yard sale TNs oldest winery the Highland Manor Winery had a food truck, outside entertainment and of course their Hard Cider and Wine Slushes available.

Yesterday the wife and I headed up there to meet our good friend Wayne Kreis. We traveled through Anderson, Roane, Morgan and Fentress Counties to arrive in Jamestown at the winery. Seeing rural Tennessee was a pleasant and calm drive obviously avoiding the traffic of the 127 yard sale.

We got there and visited the Winery, tasting the 14 varieties that they have available. The Seyval Blanc has won a Gold in a recent competition. The have two Muscadine wines, the Muscadine Select is aged 7 years and the Muscadine was awarded best by Southern Living in the past. I am a fan of Muscadine and I preferred the Southern Living one. However, I am not a wine regular and prefer my wine to be sweet. Last nights wine slushes were Peach and Sangria. I tried both and preferred the Peach. But I am sure that Highland Manor has something for every taste and preference.

We then went outside and visited the food truck and enjoyed a meal of a pork sandwich and two sides each and tried the wine slushes that Highland Manor serves.

Also outside were Sadie Faith and Seth. They can play and sing just about everything. After their two hour set, Gary Anderson from Jamestown began a two hour set.
