A records request was sent to Knox County Schools asking to review all travel reimbursement expenditures of Board Member Karen Carson. I first got a stall tactic saying they were asking the law director how long they are legally obligated to keep the records. I laughed to myself, because they better keep them indefinitely as it is the spending of the tax payers money.

Then today, I get this notice that it will take longer than the TN law allows to get the records, the week of August 3. Early Voting ends August 7, 2015 with Primary Election on August 12, 2015.

For the record, if Knox County Schools is slow walking it. I do not believe that is the call of Ms. Ogden. She is always responsive and cooperative.
