In the P.O. Box today, I received an invite to a Bill Dunn BBQ Fundraiser, it’s gonna be in the Fountain City Lions Club Building in Fountain City Park in Knoxville, TN from 5:30 – 7:30 pm on Tuesday September 19, 2017.
Dunn hasĀ $36,654.16 as of the latest campaign filing which was on 10/4/2016.
Is Dunn expecting an opponent? Is he expecting all the road builders and other receipents of the Improve Act (gas tax bill) to contribute? In all fairness, the state law prohibits any legislator from seeking, receiving contributions during the legislative session, which is from January until mid to late April (if us taxpayers are lucky) No citizen of TN is safe as long as the legislature is in session.
