During the 2016 Knox Co primary election cycle Law Director Ole Bud said that he got an opponent because of his lack of hiring outside counsel. Knox Co has been sued by citizens challenging the Mmidway Business Park. Well, it appears Ole Bud will need to hire outside counsel. Because one he cast vote on May 24, 2010 Bud cast a vote while a County Commissioner representing rural East Knox Co. In addition the senior ranking employee under ole Bud in the law department is David Buuck, who was legal counsel in one of the previous filed litigations involving Midway.
