Talk is spreading around Knoxville that Former KPD Police Chief Phil Keith has been approached about challenging one term Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero in this years City of Knoxville election.

It would be interesting if  Keith could secure the support of the TN Republican Party’s Red to the Roots campaign along with the support of his one time boss, longtime former Mayor Victor Ashe especially with Ashe’s his input with the Knoxville News Sentinel, Ashe’s current employer, he authors and published a column once a week.

Then the summer could get interesting.
