Due to Hugh Nystrom’s announcement to not seek re-election in 2020. The question is who and how many will compete for the March 3 and August 6, 2020 elections.

The qualifying deadline is NOON at December 14, 2019.

Sources indicate that Scott Broyles, President and CEO of National Safe Skies Alliance is planning to run for the Republican nomination.

Keith Britt, PhD at the University of Tennessee and a Bredesen Center Fellow named a Treasurer for the Democrat nomination some time ago. Britt is married and father of triplets.
