Last night the League of Women Voters of Knoxville/Knox County hosted a candidate forum for County Commission District’s 1, 2, 6 and 8

District 1, Republican candidates Charles Frazier participated. Jordan Hirst was a no show. Democrat Evelyn Gill and Damon Rawls participated.

District 2 Democrat Commissioner Courtney Durrett participated. Republican Debbie Phillips and Independent Ethan Grantham were no shows.

District 6, Republican Commission Chair Lady Terry Hill and Julie McBee Fritts along with Democrat Daniel Greene all participated. Fritts numerous times said she agreed with Greene, including she would “probably support a tax increase”.

District 8, Republican DJ Corcoran, Kara Daley, Adam Thompson and Democrat Charle V Chandler all participated.

Do to my attending a Meet & Greet, Center City Conservatives Republican Club, getting coverage of Third District County Commissioner Gina Oster Community Meeting, watching the two plus hours Knox County School Board quarterly work session.
