The South Community Meeting at 3:30 pm had one Knox County School employee show up. The Mayor, finance department Chair, the spokesman, two employees of community affairs office, the veterans staff person, the Mayors Assistant, the South Knox Commissioner and two Senior Center employees.

The Bearden Meeting had the Mayor, the Finance Department Head, the spokesman, the two community affairs employees, the Mayors Assistant, County Commissioner Hugh Nystrom, WATE’s Health Advisor Craig Griffith.

This budget includes pay raises for Sheriff’s Officers and teachers that have not reached the top of the payscale. It has not been lost on the officers and teachers that they are getting raises because the Mayor will be on the ballot on August 2, 2018.
