So, Knox County Schools put Austin East and Central High on virtual Monday through Friday this week.

The reason, “these two schools have consistently had a high number of student and staff absences and positions unfilled.”

There are some theories that I have seen on Twitter that there really is no illness at these two schools but an organized sick out. But I digress.

The Knox County School Board, Knox County Superintendent and Knox County Mayor sent a letter to TN Governor Bill Lee to allow Friday Night Lights. Really? Is that the most important thing? Friday Night Lights?
