Knox County Government is Treating Knox County Schools Like an Abused Spouse

The previous Knox County Mayor and now the Current Knox County Mayor is trying to force the Knox County School District to move without ever consulting the Superintendent of Knox County Schools Bob Thomas.

Thomas who is a go along get along kind of guy, finally spoke up yesterday during a joint County Commission / School Board Meeting, when asked for his thoughts on a relocation of the County’s School District move.

It begs to question, who is profiting from this sale and relocation to a federal government controlled facility? Who are the consultants for the $6 million purchaser of the AJ? Who are the consultants of the Architect? Who are the consultants of the leasing agency? Follow the money! on this sale and relocation, in my opinion is NOT in the best interest of the taxpayers of Knox County and it is being hell bent controlled by bureaucrats that want to grow the county government and I will make that case in future posts.
