This evening the Knox County Republican Party held a Meet the Challengers event at the Knoxville Expo Center, As you walk in the door, tables from the party were set up with the mailer that the party has sent out with other information.

Inside the big room, five individual tables were placed on the exterior walls for each candidate to place information, signs etc. There were 50 chairs set up.

At 6 pm each candidate was given an opportunity to make their stump speech and when all five were completed. West Knox Republican Club President Gary Loe was going to ask questions for the candidates to answer. I had to leave after opening remarks.

Klonaris said the five have been joined at the hip, have the same talking points. He said at a minimum they have to get 3 elected, although they want all 5. Klonaris remarks here or below.

Knox County Republican Chairman Daniel Herrera has publicly stated it will be a clean sweep.
