Knox County Sheriff Tom Spangler’s office received an email this morning from Martha Dooley informing them she is officially retired.

After being found guilty by the Merit System Council for Sheriff’s Employees of violating department policies and procedures in removing her car and gas card from her and enriching (my opinion) Knoxville Attorney Gary Prince with delays of Chancery Court filings they will not have Martha Dooley to kick around anymore.
