A couple interesting observations in the Knoxville City Council Third District race. No surprises or interesting takeaways from DeOssie Dingus or Seema Singh Perez. IMG_3353James Corcoran received two notable contributions, a $500 contribution from former City Councilman and State Rep. Steve Hall and a $750 contribution from State Rep. MArtin Daniel. Last summer all three men were running in a four way Republican Primary election for the position Daniel serves today.

Jody Mullins has received a $300 contribution from Apple Healthcare Group, P.C. It appears on face value to be a Corporation. Corporation contributions are prohibited. The Knox County Election Commission only accepts and files the reports. It will be up to someone to ask the TN Registry of Election Finance to investigate the contribution.
