Today September 29, 2023 Lauren Morgan had a tailgate kickoff for her 2024 Knox County School Board Fifth District. The tailgate was off of West End Avenue before the Farragut Admiral home game.

Morgan is complying with the requirement to have no political activity on school property, in having her kickoff off school property.

There was a great crowd that came from 5-7 pm, chicken tenders, vegetables, sandwiches, water were served. There were a lot of games and an inflatable slide.

School Board Vice Chair Steve Triplett, Fifth District School Board Member Susan Horn, School Board Chair Betsy Henderson and her husband Scott. Knox County Commission Vice Chair Gina Oster were in attendance. Angela Gothert a School Board candidate challenging School Board Member Daniel Watson in the Third District was also present.
