Lenoir City Schools Face Director Change

Lenoir City Schools Director has announced her departure. Now it seems the Assistant Director Millicent Beaty Smith is the recommended heir apparent at least to the outgoing Director.

Beaty Smith is a former Knox County Schools Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction about ten years ago. Her husband Seth is a Knox County Schools Principal at Fulton.

At TN State Rep. Monty Fritts Lenoir City Town Hall, he said Lenoir City Director Dr. Barker would be a good addition to the TN Department of Education, watch it here.
