I thought Knox County, TN 2022 was starting early, BUT I am told one candidate for Sheriff in Loudon County, TN has begun putting up signs. Marty Ward one of four candidates for Loudon County Sheriff signs have begun popping up. Ward joins Paul Curtis, Jimmy Davis and Deno Guider in running to replace retiring Sheriff Tim Guider.

Road Superintendent candidate is Billy Pickel as he seeks the position for retiring Road Superintendent Eddie Simpson.

County Clerk is an open seat with Riley David Wampler and Amy Blanton Langley, who is from the County’s Finance Department.

Register of Deeds has an opening. Chief Deputy Tammy Gallaher is the only announced candidate at this time.

Mayor Buddy Bradshaw and Trustee Chip Miller are seeking re-election.

On the Loudon County Commission, in the First District Kelly Brewster has an opponent in Chase Randolph. Also in the First District David Meyers has an opponent in Bill Guinn.

in the Fifth District Van Shaver is likely to face former Road Superintendent Eddie Simpson. Also, in the Fifth District Harold Duff has no announced opponent as of yet.
