Several weeks ago, Knoxville Mayoral candidate Eddie Mannis removed a picture from his Facebook page of he and Tim Burchett.

The picture generated a large negative reaction, because Burchett cast a NO vote on the Equality Act and Mannis is a self identified Gay Republican.

This Thursday June 27, a picture was published with Burchett and Mannis and a veteran in the Farragut Press. The Farragut Press has limited City of Knoxville readership.

Another odd incident, was that WATE had Mannis on their Sunday TN This Week program last Sunday. The day after Knoxville Pride and they never asked him about the possibility of him being the first openly gay Mayor of Knoxville.
