Tuesday the Knox County primary will be over at 8 pm and the Knox County General along with the State and Federal Primary will begin. It is pretty much a given that Republican Marsha Blackburn and Democrat Phil Bredesen will be victorious on August 2, 2018 So, let’s go with that thought.

The media has been taking ole Phil’s cash in his $1.21 million dollar TV buy and has been talking about his 3% lead over Blackburn. Who has not been on TV with paid commercials.

Marsha has out raised Phil with campaign contributions so far this year. East Tennessee is just now meeting Marsha and as the campaign moves to November 6, 2018. Early Voting October 17 – November 1, 2018.

In my humble opinion , she will become loved over Charlie Schumer and Crazy Uncle Joe’s (Biden) Phil. Earlier this month Phil brought Biden to Nashville for a money shakedown.

Let us NOT forget that Phil has run statewide 3 times previously (losing in 1994) and was mayor in the state’s largest media market and at his high is 4-5% below 50%.

So Phil is currently at his all time high.

Sources also indicate that later in May, currently scheduled for the 17th there will be a fundraiser in Knoxville for Marsha with Governor and Mrs. Bill Haslam, Mr. Jim & Natalie Haslam, Randy Boyd and Wes Stowers as the key hosts.
