“Just like East Tennessee voters deserve to know where Tim Burchett really stands on the issues, Knox News readers should know the author of today’s pro-Burchett column has contributed to his campaign and held a fundraiser for him at his house. The facts are clear: Tim Burchett voted to raise taxes, and he cast the deciding vote to make a Democrat the Speaker of the Tennessee Senate when Republicans had the majority, singlehandedly destroying any chance at passing pro-life or pro-Second Amendment legislation for four years. Instead of hiding behind his donors in the pages of the Knox News, Tim Burchett should publicly debate the issues and explain to voters why he voted to raise taxes and to hand control of the Tennessee Senate over to Democrats.”

Note: Good luck because in 2010, Burchett ran away from any debate with his Prinary opponent.
