An article appeared today in the Commercial Appeal – former Memphis School Board Chairman Michael Hooks, Jr is resigning today from the Memphis School Board. Hooks, Jr. currently 30 years old, first elected at age 23 is stepping down to spend time with his wife. The couple were married on September 4, 2005.
