Lou Moran, III, my friend, Knoxville native and small business owner has been appointed to the InsurePac National Board.
August 24, 2016, Knoxville, TN — Lou Moran III, President of Inter-Agency Insurance Service in Knoxville, has been appointed to the InsurPac National Board of Trustees of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA). Â Moran is the current IIABA National Director for Tennessee and is a former Insurors of Tennessee President. Â InsurPac is THE federal political action committee for independent insurance agents and brokers. Â It is the largest property-casualty agent PAC in the nation. Â It represents the unified political voice of the 23,000 member agencies and 300,000 agents and brokers of the IIABA. Â In making disbursements of the voluntary agent donations, InsurPac does not look at party affiliation; rather, it supports those officials who have been advocates and supporters of the independent agency system. Â As a result, the IIABA and InsurPac have an impressive bipartisan track record in Congress
