Last night, the MPC Staff had an open house in the Northshore Elementary School Library. An elementary school in Knox County’s Fourth Commission District. Knox County Commissioner Elect Hugh Nystrom was a gracious host.

Sadly, the Chair of the Knoxville Knox County MPC was overheard asking Fifth District Commissioner John Schoonmaker and Fourth District Commissioner Elect Hugh Nystrom if the event was Sunshined. Did she not understand Nystrom isn’t sworn in until 9/1/2016 and that MPC and Commission are not the same body?
