Winning by less than 80 votes for John R. Whitehead with his nearest opponent in the March 1 Republican Primary for Knox County Property Assessor. Also, winning by less than 80 votes for Knox County Commissioner Second District Elect Michele Carringer. Carringer snapping one out of the jaws of the Democrat Party.
