In my previous story I wrote about the reorganized Knox County Democrat Party. They reorganized on Saturday April 5 at Bearden Middle School in Knox County. The Republicans reorganized the week before Saturday March 29 at Rothchild Catering. The Democrats according to Compass had 128, I reported 524 ballots were cast in the Republican Chairman contest.

There has been much ado about organizations having events at schools with political activity. The Karns Community Fair having booths for candidates. What is more partisan than a political party reorganizing. Republicans use to use schools, as recent as 2019, since 2019 Republicans have utilized private facilities. Crown College of the Bible in 2021 and 2023 and Rothchild Catering and Conference Center in 2025.

Why can the public school be used by the Democrat Party of Knox County? The utilities, electric, water, the custodial resources of cleaning up, the parking lot and everything that goes with occupying the school.
