Sandra Clark, former Knoxnews weekly community writer, now at an online imitator has a story about Larsen Jay and supposedly how the Merit Council and Knox County Sheriffs Office have a fractured relationship and how he and the Knox County Commission will fix it after a ZOOM meeting on January 14th. Well, there have been three previous in person meetings, a total of six hours and #TheMegaBullhornofTruth have been at all of them and every word has been recorded and blogged.

So, here on October 22, 2020 here on November 11, 2020 and here on December 2, 2020 are my stories. Every video and word from each of the three meetings is in each story.

As a former member of the Knox County Merit Council for Knox County Sheriff’s Employees, Jay is DEAD WRONG that the Merit System or Council have anything to do with retention of Sheriff’s Merit Protected employees. Also, the misconception that the small Merit System staff or Council are doing anything to harm Officers by administrative issues is wrong as well.

This whole issue IN MY HUMBLE OPINION (after sitting through 3/4 of the ‘kumbaya” meetings) is fueled by a power controlled Knox Sheriffs Office HR Director Lysette Aviles that wants rid of the checks and balances of the Merit System and Council. How about addressing the ONE HUNDRED FORTY that is 140 Merit Protected Knox County Sheriffs Officers that have left employment with Knox County Sheriffs Department since JANUARY 1, 2020. I have talked to many and believe that I know why.

Then on Monday December 28, 2020 he and his family suddenly gather money and supplies to deliver treat bags to health professionals on January 1, 2021. But that has no bearing on Clark trying to prop him up, I am sure. But hey, Clark as an online news source and myself in the 16th year as #TheMegaBullhornofTruth are just “internet bloggers” to Jay, anyway.
