This evening, many public education workers and supporters lined Kingston Pike in front of the Rothchild Catering and Conference Center opposing school vouchers in hopes of greeting the Republican State Representatives and Senators and especially TN Governor Bill Lee.

Of course, I got out and talked to a few of them, at least one of them, I knew.

During Governor Bill Lee’s speech he made reference to the protesters and said that those are people that do not believe that kids in some zip codes deserve the same education as kids in other zip codes.
