On January 9, 2015 my Mom became “away from the body and at home with the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 5:8 ESV)
Pulmonary Fibrosis is the lung disease that shortened my Momma’s life. In her final days, as she informed her Pastor of her wishes for her Memorial service, directed me to call and arrange her friend to sing and have an accompaniment to play the piano. As she dictated her obituary, she requested that in lieu of flowers, individuals make contributions to her church, Riverdale Baptist Church or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
