So Will Lame Duck City Council Decide Between Tindell and Parker?

What happens when two candidates tie for second place? Just like yesterday in District 4 when former State Representative Harry Tindell and Amelia Parker each got 488 votes behind Lauren Rider the first place vote getter.

Well state law leaves it up to city council to decide. I am sure Charles Swanson, the City of Knoxville Law Director for Mayor Madeline Rogero will weigh in aka opine on it. If it’s like the Bible verse at KPD, it may end up in court.
