Today, State Representative Eddie Smith attended the October Volunteer Republican Women lunch. Stan Brock of Remote Area Medical was scheduled to be the Speaker, he is in Haiti with RAM doing disaster relief from Hurricane Matthew.

So Chris Hall along with another RAM Associate Anna Belle were the program. The Volunteer Republican Women contributed $250 to RAM and $250 to Eddie Smith’s campaign.

Later in the day, Smith along with State Senator Becky Massey presented a $30,000 grant from TN Department of Environment And Conservation to The Sequoyah Hills Association towards the restoration of the Talahi Park, a landmark in the Sequoyah Hills area. Smith and Massey’s actions even brought Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero a Democrat to the presentation. Smith is a producer of results and uniter of individuals of different political persuasions.
