The Knox County Republican Party’s 2027 Reorganization Is Approaching — Who Will Step Up to Lead?
Every two years, county Republican parties across Tennessee must reorganize, electing leadership to guide their respective organizations for the next two years.
In Knox County, the Republican Party’s 2027 Reorganization Convention is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2027. However, the official vote to establish the convention date will not occur until after January 1, 2027.
That means the political wheels are already beginning to turn!
A Change at the Top
Current Knox County Republican Party Chairman Martin Daniel has indicated that he will NOT seek re-election as Chairman.
That announcement opens the door for new leadership of the Knox County Republican Party.
But what about the other officers?
As of now, I have heard no definitive word regarding whether the following individuals intend to seek another term:
- Vice Chairman: Kyle Nahrebne
- Secretary: Barry Beeler
- Treasurer: Ammons
- Assistant Treasurer: Christy Gentry
Will they seek re-election? Will there be challengers? Will new faces emerge to lead Knox County Republicans into the 2028 election cycle?
Those questions remain unanswered.
On THIS Episode 123 of The Brian Hornback Experience, Sean Murphy joins me for an EXCLUSIVE announcement as the Knox County Republican Party begins looking toward its 2027 reorganization.
You’ll want to hear what Sean has to say, directly from Sean himself!
