Tyler Harber’s theft of e-mails from then-GOP chair Chad Tindell was cited as a crime that Nichols chose to overlook. Now federal prosecutors are throwing the book at UT student David Kernell. His offense? Hacking into the e-mail of Sarah Palin.

Let’s clear up one misstatement made by Ms. Clark. Chad Tindell was then the former GOP Chairman. As has been documented in Ms. Clark’s own publication the alleged theft occurred the weekend that he was replaced as the GOP Chairman. Tindell was replaced by former Chairman Brian Hornback.

Secondly, there is a difference between a one in a million Attorney and the Governor of Alaska and there is a difference between a former County Republican Chairman and the Republican Vice Presidential nominee for the United States of America.
