Tomorrow, the Knox County Election Commission will begin handing out qualifying petitions for Knox County Commission Districts 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9. Knox County School Board districts 2, 3, 5 and  8. Knox County Property Assessor and Knox County Law Director.

We also expect Knox County Public Defender to be on the ballot as Mark Stephens retires at the end of this month and potentially Criminal Court Judge as Judge Bob McGee is expected to retire at the end of the year. Those petitions may not be readily available.
