Last night at the Town Hall East meeting, the three Democrat candidates for the May 3, 2022 Knox County Democrat Primary for Knox County Mayor were in attendance. The Town Hall East Officers announced that Republican Mayor Glenn Jacobs was invited and declined.

I was only able to stay for the first question and answer by all three candidates, the question was about the residential developments in rural areas with minimal infrastructure, the question and answers are here.

Helsley revealed last night that part of her volunteer work is being a volunteer of Knox County Sheriff’s SCAN (Senior Citizen Awareness Network) however she has been placed on leave from a volunteer position due to being a political candidate, watch that here.
