One week from today at NOON is the filing deadline to be a candidate for Alderman in the Town of Farragut.

On the north side of Kingston Pike, Vice Mayor and Alderman Louise Povlin announced that due to her business and family commitments she would not be running for re-election, will on Monday March 23, she picked up a petition and returned it yesterday, March 25. 🤷🏼‍♂️. She will likely face Michael B. Bellamy, who has returned a petition. Also Laura Fangman has picked up a petition.

On the South side only Alderman Drew Burnette has picked up a petition with no apparent challenger.
