October 29, 1990 is the day that my wife gave birth to our first child. At times I think back to how young we were and how it seemed so long ago. In reality time has flown by, this summer he moved from Knoxville for his career and though he isn’t that far away, it feels odd that he is not gonna be walking in the house at some point during the evening. Thankfully, cell phones, Twitter, Facebook and occasional drives to Nashville keep us connected. I am proud of the man that our son has become.
