Updating this post from April 5, 2024. Republican Challenger Jim Grippo will not be challenging TN State Senator Joey Hensley in District 28 Republican Primary. So, Hensley is free in the Republican Primary and faces Democrat James Dallas in the General Election Challenge on November 5th.

Also Jacaranda R. Williams will not oppose State Senator Paul Rose of the 32nd District in the Republican Primary. Rose is now unopposed in the Primary and General Election.
