When the Knox Sheriff Higher Brass Get in Fantasy of Trees

A source has informed me that a member of the Knox County Sheriffs executive staff has secured hundreds of FREE Fantasy of Trees tickets to be used by the higher brass of the department.

I understand that there is a rule that officers which should include the department is not permitted to accept gratuities of value.

The Fantasy of Trees is the premiere fundraiser for East TN Children’s Hospital the week of Thanksgiving. Between 50,000 – 75,000 people visit this annual event supporting ETCH. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased here 

Whether someone with exact knowledge files a complaint is not known at this time.
