George Hamilton an active 88 year old Knox County citizen addressed the Knox County School Board this evening. He advocated not requiring Algebra for all Knox County students as only 1% of the students will use Algebra in any future careers.

He went on to ask the Board which best describes the Board and Knox County Schools.

1) Blind leading the Blind
2) Messed up as a one car funeral
3) As screwed up as a Chinese fire drill

No one answered Mr. Hamilton’s question.

Mr. Hamilton has been a frequent speaker at County Commission and tonight it was good to see that he is still active and doing his best to make his views known.
