A Fountain City weekly newspaper publisher column this week discusses what he calls a ‘good ole girl’ network. The interesting part of the column is the name the publisher referred to Second District School Board candidate. Her name is Jennifer Owen, never have I heard her called anything other than Jennifer Owen. However, the publisher shortened her name to “Jen” a shortened version of her name which is the norm for family and close friends. So is Owen, Patti Bounds, Amber Rountree attempting to create their own ‘good ole gal’ network and how is the publisher in the mix?

I would encourage you to watch this meeting and see if the publisher’s report that Board Member “Sanger whined and cried (literally)”. My recollection is that her voice cracked but literally crying? Don’t take the publisher’s word or my word, you decide for yourself. You should fact check all media, including this website.
