Foster Arnett and Mrs. 911 were in yesterday’s Knoxville News Sentinel with what appeared to be a paid for ad. Although, the ad lacked a required paid for by disclosure. In addition, the ad thanks everyone for the “landslide” 47% victory.

I don’t know what private school Foster’s mom and dad sent him too. Mrs. 911 was a school teacher and how either of them believe that 47% when taking on only one opponent is a win and the win which isn’t a win is a landslide is even more amazing.

This from a guy that handles all the counties license tag money, marriage licenses and many other fees and he doesn’t even know that a simple majority is 50% plus 1 is astounding.

One other small detail as the County Clerk and Mrs. 911 are patting themselves on the back for their landslide win when all that was required on August 6 was to be a Republican on the ballot. You would think that Arnett would have seen the articles that the News Sentinel has published on how the voters were stupid, well maybe the Sentinel had a point on the Clerk’s race anyway.

This is why Arnett is the most disliked Republican in the courthouse.
