Richard Briggs, one of two Republican challengers to State Senator Stacey Campfield has released his first television commercial. The commercial begins with a military theme, because of Briggs military background. But as Briggs begins to talk, he speaks with an aggressive negative tone contrasting and comparing himself to Campfield.

One of the major criticisms of Campfield is he is too negative. So it seems that Briggs would not want to replicate it, unless he is simply Campfield 2.0?

On August 7, 2014 with early voting July 18 – August 2 the Republican primary for State Senate, longtime Republican activist Mike Alford, Briggs and Campfield face off.
