For Christmas, my Dad bought me Cas “The ole Coon Hunter Himself” Walker’s book My Life History on page 93 Cas wrote Odell Lane, my nephew, was in legislation, and I got Mr. L.C. Ely to draw up what they call “the Sunshine Law”, that would outlaw any kind of secret meetings in City or State Government. What brought this about was the Leonard Rogers Adminstration was ahving secret meetings one or two days before Council meeting. 

About any honest political leader in office now or ever has been will agree that the “Sunshine Law” is the greatest law that has ever been passed. 

You will have to use your own judgement as to the reason of this never being mention.

I agree it is a great law and I see local governmental bodies of elected officials circumventing the law with clandestine lunch meetings “that are sun-shined”  with media advisories where the media never show up. My greatest wish is that the legislature would not be able to exempt themselves from the law as they have done.
