Four days after Rep. Jason Zachary introduced his Bill HB 0007 stripping the Knox County Health Board of its powers, I asked who the Senate Sponsor is and he texted he would have one within a week. That was on November 11. On December 7, Senator Mike Bell introduced the companion bill.

Knox County State Senators Becky Duncan Massey, Dr. Richard Briggs and Lt. Governor Randy McNally did not sponsor it.
